Hobbies:
Tennis, Karate, and Jazz.During the1990s-2016, Dr Vladimir Lukov conducted a set of projects on the role of the Military
Electorate, Military Criminality and Military Regionalism in election processes in the Russian Federation.
Results were published in several working papers at conferences of the International Political Science
Association and the US All-University Seminar on Armed Forces and Society.
At the Institute of USA and Canada Studies of the Russian Academy of Science Dr Vladimir Lukov
finished a work on Radiological Terrorism prevention, which was partly reported at the Conference on
Counter-Terrorism in November 2004 (www.counterterrorismcenter.ru - now it does not exist).
